The Sunday - II

Quick overview of first part: {I had planned to go for a movie with Q at Forum… Due to some unexpected commitments we were running late. I just had 35 minutes [for which I took nearly an hour – Indian Standard Time rules ;)] to travel 12.5+12.5 + 12 + 7 kilometres. – Q waited for me for approx 30 minutes……. Finallllyy, we reached at 11:08 a.m.} Herez what happened next… Injwaai!! :D

3rd floor, and then the Gold Class entry gate>> It was RamSingh bhiasaab welcoming us - greeting us Happy New Year (this person helped us with Q's lost mobile – she dropped it under the seat – it was long time back. Ok, back to the Sunday ordeal). After the security check, we found ourselves in a real comfy place, A ten on ten item (lady) approached us [or me, do I have the privilege to say that?? Q, for sure doesn’t see the other way ;)] with her sweet mesmerising smile and handed over the face scrub and the menu-card. Half of the ticket money was vasool.

The menu and the wall had *we treat you like star* written in bold; you bet it was true. We placed the order with a steward [am ready to pay another 100/200 bucks for the ticket, if the management makes it an *all female* service ;)] and left for the Audi.....

The kaleen felt so good to walk on.. but what is this?? Suddenly it’s hard and the churning sound is irritating (actually not – may be its meant to produce this sound)
we were in front of the wash room ??? kya karun ??? The cleaner over there guided us to the audi with a pehli-baar-aaye-ho look. Lemme tell you - It was second visit for Q.. but as we know - where there is Q there is confusion ;) she was just jumping here n there smiling, laughing and trying to avoid any collisions [flashback(s): her collision rate - 10 per day]. The movie was Bunty n Bubly.. and the ABHISHEIK EFFECT made us forget the gold class atmosphere. Ohh.. forgot to mention - the seats (I’m actually being mean by stating it a *seat*; it was biggest single sofa I had ever sat on and with one gentle touch on a button you can convert it into a queen-sized bed - you can still watch the movie without any hindrances).

PS: *cribbing* I’m not paid for this advertisement :(

Q was enjoying the queen sized bed… AND me!!! … Can things go well with me as well???? NO was the answer. May be for the first time in the history of PVR the button was not responding. Tired of trying I decided to watch the movie sitting (I c'd see Q enjoying the pre massage cum lounge cum …. feeling). Well, I'm not that unlucky, it worked after sometime and I too was lamblate (lying on bed like no onez watching) on the bed cum sofa cum .... (add something urself). 20 min passed and the steward came with the popcorn (2 large) and after sometime with a @#%$##&* sandwich (can't recollect the name - may be it was some lord...sandwich worth 155). I can make and sell the same sandwich for Rs 5 with 300% as the profit margin. another 20 mins passed - we were sipping capuccino (it was gud - why?? it was worth Rs. 45 and was served with cookies - 2 nos. from cookie man).

(Why this blank space?? Just coz we were watching movie and nothing worth mentioning.)

Guess what?? we were missing this chhota sa bachcha (Read ‘V’ – contributor to this blog) who used to be with us on all such escapades. [LUV U SAALE BACHCHE :*)]

The Sunday

SUNDAY: We plan to go out to get out of the routine and monotonous zindagi. Ok, here's the plan: Me and Q plan to meet at Indian Express signal at 10:30 am in the morning; we planned to chill out in the Gold Class couches - sipping coffee/Pepsi etc. - the movie was Bunty and Bubly.

** I suggest you resent and read upto 50% and let me know if you don’t want to continue.

Did you know: At times Sundays can give you learning opportunities? How?? Keep reading... I experienced the truth in the saying "Sochne me and karne me bahut farak hai" or "it’s difficult to walk the talk". You still couldn't get the clue of the lesson, eh? Ok, it’s no big thing (great people say ‘small things matter a lot’) I promised Q - "I'll be waiting for you at Indian Express at 10:30" but couldn’t be there. So the learning is DON’T PROMISE. Why it happened and what happened when we entered the movie theatre?? Read the para below, it won't be of much use to you but definitely a good read.

Sunday Morning:

After half an hour of mom's exercise I woke up early in the morning at 9:15 am. I thought it’s too early for me to leave as the meeting time was 10:30 am. Loitering here and there I brushed my teeth... Cup of tea was waiting for me, I’m not yet done with the tea and there’s somebody’s call on mom’s cell. I had to reduce the volume of Abida Parveen Songs (my favourite at present) the call was from one of our family friends who resided in Yelahanka. He wanted me to hand over some documents to him… and let me tell you he wanted it before 11 a.m.

Totally pissed, I went to the bathroom and within 10 minutes (first time in atleast last ten years) I was out. You polluted mind! You think I didn’t take bath?? I did, I perform really well under pressure (pressure of Q’s kick on my ass). Here I am, ready to leave… But I guess moms have this “can't stop themselves from stuffing their children” and another 5 min gone. 10 minutes to ten and I need to go to Yelahanka (12.5 km), come back and then be there at indian express (approx 12 km from Jalahalli – my place) at 10:30. Tough task.. but do I have a choice (one can't leave a Gold class ticket and certainly not if it is for the first time he got this opportunity). So.... after jumping and faking around two dozens of signals and getting a totally new hairstyle (all naturally combed backwards coz of the 80-90 kmph ride) I managed to reach Indian express at (...didn’t look at the watch OR forgot...).

Q was standing there waiting for more than half an hour. Well, It was a relief looking at her smiling face.. all signal jumping etc. it was all worth it (a loud sigh). We started from there and again the hair-styling process had started (show was to start at 11:25 am) but this time the 50 kmph tool was to be used.
Guess what?? I parked the bike at forum at 11:08 a.m.

We are in time! - I was stroking my moustache in my day dreaming sessions.

To be continued....

Prologue to next post - The Sunday

Hey All,

Five Point Someone and One Night @ Callcentre - the two bestsellers of Chetan Bhagat..
When ever I talk/discuss/hear/overhear/read about his books; the message i get is "Chetan Bhagat's Narration is novel and totally out of this world". .....

I won't comment.... I'll write something about what happened with me and one my friend on a typical Sunday.. 'll be trying to do so in Chetan Bhagat style ;) ....

Just one more thing - I should give him due credit..
I'm not denying the fact that the book is really well written and that this person introduced *READING* to many of the non-readers. Let me tell you - I'm one of them.

Ok, give me some time and I'll be publishig the first part of what happened on that Sunday...

I and Life are Running!!!

{Sleep was miles away from my eyes and I found that the book I was reading is complete... Cell is discharged- no current- Main aur meri tanhayi with a lamp ??? what do I do now?. Searched for a pen and was lucky to find one (its difficult to get a pen in a small village in rajasthan - that to at night - approx 11:45 ). I don't know what made me write this...}

Date: 21 jan 06; Time: 11:45 pm; Place: small village in NAGAUR District of Rajasthan

Life is running; I'm suffering from slow mode of locomotion on hands and knees. Life's running; leaving me crowling. And where am I now?? with that physical disorder - the slow mode of locomotion. Ok! let me disclose - life left me on my work station and due to the law of inertia i'm crawling even at nights (hang over probably ;) you agree?? thanks.. I got the answer.)
Then there is this much much...(infinite times).. awaited WEEKEND; I'm energised - totally recharged just by the thought of these last 48 hrs of the week.
NOW(weekend ruling my body and soul)... You know what?? I believe in myself and can run faster; almost double the speed of life ... (I'm Greeaaattttttt, eh?)

BUT... Weekdays are five; more than double the two tiny-miny Week-end Days.... What Say?
