The Sunday
SUNDAY: We plan to go out to get out of the routine and monotonous zindagi. Ok, here's the plan: Me and Q plan to meet at Indian Express signal at 10:30 am in the morning; we planned to chill out in the Gold Class couches - sipping coffee/Pepsi etc. - the movie was Bunty and Bubly.
** I suggest you resent and read upto 50% and let me know if you don’t want to continue.
Did you know: At times Sundays can give you learning opportunities? How?? Keep reading... I experienced the truth in the saying "Sochne me and karne me bahut farak hai" or "it’s difficult to walk the talk". You still couldn't get the clue of the lesson, eh? Ok, it’s no big thing (great people say ‘small things matter a lot’) I promised Q - "I'll be waiting for you at Indian Express at 10:30" but couldn’t be there. So the learning is DON’T PROMISE. Why it happened and what happened when we entered the movie theatre?? Read the para below, it won't be of much use to you but definitely a good read.
Sunday Morning:
After half an hour of mom's exercise I woke up early in the morning at 9:15 am. I thought it’s too early for me to leave as the meeting time was 10:30 am. Loitering here and there I brushed my teeth... Cup of tea was waiting for me, I’m not yet done with the tea and there’s somebody’s call on mom’s cell. I had to reduce the volume of Abida Parveen Songs (my favourite at present) the call was from one of our family friends who resided in Yelahanka. He wanted me to hand over some documents to him… and let me tell you he wanted it before 11 a.m.
Totally pissed, I went to the bathroom and within 10 minutes (first time in atleast last ten years) I was out. You polluted mind! You think I didn’t take bath?? I did, I perform really well under pressure (pressure of Q’s kick on my ass). Here I am, ready to leave… But I guess moms have this “can't stop themselves from stuffing their children” and another 5 min gone. 10 minutes to ten and I need to go to Yelahanka (12.5 km), come back and then be there at indian express (approx 12 km from Jalahalli – my place) at 10:30. Tough task.. but do I have a choice (one can't leave a Gold class ticket and certainly not if it is for the first time he got this opportunity). So.... after jumping and faking around two dozens of signals and getting a totally new hairstyle (all naturally combed backwards coz of the 80-90 kmph ride) I managed to reach Indian express at (...didn’t look at the watch OR forgot...).
Q was standing there waiting for more than half an hour. Well, It was a relief looking at her smiling face.. all signal jumping etc. it was all worth it (a loud sigh). We started from there and again the hair-styling process had started (show was to start at 11:25 am) but this time the 50 kmph tool was to be used.
Guess what?? I parked the bike at forum at 11:08 a.m.
We are in time! - I was stroking my moustache in my day dreaming sessions.
To be continued....
